Following the release of the City of Oakland Equity Indicators 2018 Report, Oakland Councilmember Desley Brooks wanted to grow her list of supporters for initiatives addressing such inequities. The campaign focuses on African American drivers at the moment they’re stopped. Several versions were tested.
